New Names and More Milestones

We are so excited to announce that we had not one—but two—major milestones happen this month here at Radio Access 102.5 FM! And we have a new look for a listener favorite program!

Song Waves hit its 100th episode on Tuesday, March 16th, 2026! Host Mariah Ralston has been bringing her passion for music and discovery to Radio Access since May 2022, building a show that has become a staple for listeners who crave something fresh, eclectic, and meaningful.

Song Waves is more than just a music show—it’s an experience. Each episode weaves together a rich tapestry of sound, featuring genres like alternative rock, folk, indie-pop, R&B, hip-hop, soul, jazz, bluegrass, Motown, First Nations music, and even avant-garde selections. Mariah has a true gift for curating music in a way that feels intentional and alive, giving each track space to breathe while connecting listeners to artists they may have never discovered otherwise.

Over the past 100 episodes, she has created a platform that celebrates diversity in music and storytelling, and we’ve loved every minute of it. Congratulations, Mariah—here’s to the next 100 episodes and beyond!

We also want to celebrate another incredible milestone—Rock Stew hit its 100th episode on Thursday, March 26th, 2026! Host Billy Barule has been serving up his signature blend of rock since March 2020 (so rocking with DMA for 6 years!), delivering a show that’s as energetic and flavorful as its name suggests.

Each “batch” of Rock Stew is a carefully crafted mix of rock music spanning the last 50 years. From acoustic sets to full-throttle rock and roll, Billy keeps listeners on their toes with themed episodes and seasonal specials like Summertime jams, Halloween vibes, and Christmas rock classics. It’s a show that invites you to turn up the volume, grab your air guitar, and just let loose.

What makes Rock Stew truly special is its balance of the familiar and the unexpected. You’ll hear songs you know and love alongside hidden gems that deserve their moment in the spotlight. And of course, we can’t forget the standout Alt. Vault episodes with Papa Steve-O—some of the best deep dives into alternative rock we’ve ever heard on the station.

Billy has brought the rock every single time, and his dedication and passion continue to shine through each episode. Rock on, Billy—here’s to another 100 episodes of incredible music!

Finally, we wanted to share with you a change to a very special music program. We asked you to help us rebrand Dakota Produce Live! and we have a winner.

Amplify ND will be the new identity for our show sitting down with local musicians to talk about their projects and process.

New episodes air on Thursdays at 12pm on 102.5.
