A Concert exploring our relationship with Nature and Creation
Dakota Pro Musica director Dr. Jason Thoms, put together a concert unlike any other on the weekend of October 26th, and we were so happy to be there to capture it.
Merging Lakota poetry, drum song, and flute with the choral and orchestral sounds that we have come to expect from a Dakota Pro Musica concert, a new sound was brought to Trinity Lutheran Church that night.
The entire concert was filled with beautiful orchestrations and moving poetry, but the centerpiece of the night and space was the youth drum group led by Cedric Goodhouse Jr. from WOZU based in Cannon Ball, ND.
